my name is Paloma, my artist name is Paloma the Peach. it’s kind of a weird story about why i chose that name, but everyone’s always compared my round face to a peach!

i’m a 24 year old mexican immigrant living in the yeehaw state of texas with my wonderful husband, cats and dog. currently, i make all of my work out of my in home studio! being a student is also a huge part of my life, with an associate’s in fine arts and an in-progress bachelor’s in art history.

i work with a variety of different media, but i love to create illustrative paintings, digital works and ceramic pieces that combine my cultural upbringing along with my current interests. working in a silly, crafty style is my way of breaking the rhetoric that art has to be serious or an accurate portrayal of the world to be good! (although i do love me some realism too)

my work flow and process gets documented and uploaded onto my youtube channel and instagram page to show people just another way that they can lean into their creativity to create a career for themselves!
